Most of the heavy lifting on this Digital Eclipse 2D / 3D golfing simulation for N-Gage featuring the popular Tiger Woods and PGA brands was done by programming grandmaster Dan Filner.
The game's audio offered special technical challenges: it had to stream smoothly, switch dynamically between 8KHz and 16KHz sampling, and interoperate with the built-in cell phone software of the N-Gage to share control of the sound subsystem.
I developed a multi-threaded, multi-channel prioritized sound playback system for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004. It worked so well that Digital Eclipse reused it on at least one other high-profile N-Gage title: Spider-Man 2.
